Whether you are a newly qualified or experienced career teacher, teaching assistant or cover supervisor, Concorde Teaching Bank will be able to help you.
All teachers, teaching assistants and cover supervisors wishing to register with Concorde Teaching Bank are required to provide us with the names of two professional referees. For teaching staff these can be from the Head teacher or senior teaching staff at a school where you have previously taught or, if recently qualified, from the college/university where you trained. For teaching assistants and cover supervisors these can also be from an educational establishment or alternatively from previous non educational employers.
There is no charge for registering with us.
Once references have been taken up, we will need to organise a face to face interview in order for us to best assess and understand your requirements.
At interview we will need to see and take copies of:
- Original teaching qualifications
- Enhanced CRB check/overseas equivalent
- Evidence of GTC registration for teaching staff
- Confirmation of residential address
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (Passport or Birth Certificate/Work Permit/Visa together with proof of your NI number e.g. Wage slip)
Please bring two passport-sized photographs along to the interview, we can then provide you with an identity card to present to the supply co-ordinator on arrival at the school.
Please bring your bank details along to this interview as temporary wages are paid directly into your bank account.
If you have any questions with regards to working with Concorde please feel free to contact us.
If in any doubt contact us at one of the Teaching Bank offices
Once you have passed all the quality control checks you will be registered with Concorde Teaching Bank. As vacancies occur you will be contacted by a consultant to check your availability for the assignment.
